The St. Thomas Audubon Society Inc. will conduct its first Bird-watching Walk of the New Year on Sunday, Jan. 6. Members or any interested individuals are welcome to join on the walk.
Participants are asked to meet at 6 a.m. sharp at the Aubrey C. Ottley Post Office (in Sugar Estate) exit gate. They must call and register before the trip. Bring a pair of binoculars, cap or visor, a small bottle of drinking water, sandwich or snack, note pad and pen, birding guide, sun screen, insect repellent and swim suit/trunk (optional).
The membership fee is $45 annually for individuals/family; the tour is $35. Please inquire today about becoming a member.
