Passionate, energetic and artistic are just a few words used to describe the highly-celebrated Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble. Reichhold Center for the Arts wraps up its 2011-2012 season at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, with a captivating performance by the talented dance group. Founded by Arthur Mitchell and Karel Shook, Dance Theatre of Harlem is the first black classical ballet company in the United States of America. The ensemble will perform a mix of ballet and contemporary dance.
