St. Croix East End residents, businesses, vendors, fishermen, beach users and other interested members of the public are invited to a public meeting from 6–7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the St. Croix Yacht Club. DPNR-CZM, NOAA and their contractors Horsley Witten Group will be soliciting comments on the overall management goals and implementation strategies presented in their Draft St. Croix East End Watersheds Management Plan.
At the meeting, project partners will discuss implementation activities that are underway and answer questions you may have on what you can do to improve watershed conditions. The draft plan is available for review / download from the project Web site at www.horsleywitten.com/stx-east-end-watersheds/index.html.
The plan will be finalized based on comments received from the public and agency stakeholders, and is anticipated to be posted on the website by the end of October.
