Oct. 5, 2007 – Barbara E. Irvine died on Oct. 2, in Atlanta, Ga., after a long illness. She was 71 years old. A long time resident of St. Croix, she worked at Marshall & Sterling Insurance for over 15 years.
She is survived by her children: Suzanne, Karl and Audrey; brothers and sisters: Ian, Winston, Judith, Carol and Lorna; numerous nieces and nephews and many treasured friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Cathedral at Chapel Hill in Decatur, Georgia.
Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to Murray Brothers Funeral Home, 1199 Utoy Springs Road, Atlanta, GA 30331. She will be laid to rest in Kingston, Jamaica.
