Dec. 22, 2007 –. Customers wishing to report power outages or water service interruptions in their area, particularly after 11 p.m., are asked to call directly to the Water and Power Authority's emergency numbers. The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority has installed a new telephone system and is in the process of fine-tuning it, according to a release from the authority. On St. Croix call 773-0150 and on St. Thomas and St. John call 774-1424 to report concerns.
