Hearings on Fiscal Year 2001 budget will begin again Nov. 20, according to Finance Committee Chairwoman Lorraine M. Berry.
The first department to be heard will be Education. Berry said because Education's budget is by far the largest, the committee decided to start with it and has set aside the whole day.
The committee will spend the time until Nov. 20 collecting data relative to revenue projections and developing the Omnibus Bill, Berry said in a release from her office.
