FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND SET BY PLANNERS

The Father's Day weekend celebration in Frenchtown will take place June 14-16, presented by the Committee of the Betterment of Carenage and Coor's Light. The weekend will set the stage for the grand celebration of Father's Day on June 16.
The highlight of the weekend is the announcement of the annual Mother's Day and pre-Father's Day fishing tournaments. Prizes will be annouNced.
Kicking off the afternoon of Friday, June 14, will be the crowning of Miss Carenage 2002. Governor Charles Turnbull and other government officials will snip the ribbon officially opening the celebration. A brief opening ceremony is scheduled.
