PEACE CORPS ELEMENTARY HOLDS ART SHOW

Feb. 13, 2003 – The art club of Peace Corps Elementary School is holding an exhibit of paper mache masks at the Richhold Center for the Arts Gallery from Friday through March 14. "Faces and Places" is the theme of the exhibit, and students focused on traditional African art to celebrate African Heritage and Youth Art Months.
Art teacher Chinwe Osaze and members of the Art Club will host a kick-off reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The show will be open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The project is sponsored in part by a Teacher Grant from the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands' Anderson Family Fund, which was established to support educational enrichment.
