Ferdie Carr has died.
Ferdie returns home to be with his mother, Georgiana “Georgie” Greene; father, John Carr; brothers: Stedroy Carr and Wilfred Carr; and sisters: Jacintha Paul and Edelyn James.
He left behind his sons: Austin Carr and Dave Carr; brothers: Novelle Carr, Allan Carr and Henson Greene; sisters: Joicelyn “Joice” Greene and Nalda Georges; and nieces: Delacie Lewis, Morveth James, Umelva James, Debbie Carr, Sonia Georges, Joycelyn “Pat” Gumbs, Sharon Merritt, Eve Paul, Nicole T. Greene “Wakiema,” Arika Semper, Chantelle Greene-Quinones and Marcia Carr.
He is also survived by nephews: Anthony James, Nathaniel James, Jacob James, Robert James Jr., Kenneth Carr, Keith Carr, Kevin Carr, Uriah Paul, Franklyn Greene, Henson Greene Jr. and Filmore Carr; cousins: Alexis Carr, Leon Carr, Eulander Carr, Claudia Payne-Anthony and family, Dr. Marine Joseph, Charles Knight, Jerome Greene and family, Annette Charles and family, and the Greene family in Antigua. as well as many more family too numerous to mention.
Other survivors include close friends: Angela Burt-McIntosh, Daniel “Rudy” Caines, Lionel Carter and family, Leroy Simon, Mike Allen, Francky Velazquez, Alexis Brodhurst, Ruben Prince, Dorothy Hendricks, Karim Christian, Eddie. Mr. Derrick Cole and Family, Mr. Keith Williams and family, Mr. Maurice Williams and family, and Carlos Devine and family, and to all his friends in Whim Gardens too numerous to mention, thank you for your support!
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 16, at Divine Funeral Services Chapel.
