Samuel G. Thomas

Samuel G. Thomas. Also known as “Sammy,” died on Sunday, Feb. 11.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Enrica T. Thomas; father, George Thomas; and nephew, Alexander L. Thomas.

Samuel G. Thomas is survived by his wife, Knielle Phillips-Thomas; children: Knea, K’Nesha and Samaury Thomas; stepson, K-Jani Woolcock; grandchildren: Maliyah Mass and Je’Lani Thomas; sisters: Juliana E. Boulai, Juliet J. Thomas-Arthurton, Agnes E. Thomas and Cynthia J. Thomas; brother, Anjay Thomas; and mother-in-law, Francine Penn-Scipio.

He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Kenya Mass-Thomas;  nieces: Jeanice J. Boulai, Sherell Gabriel, Franique Ryan and Alliyah Dessout; nephews: Jimmy Boulai, Felix Boulai Jr., Rakim Douglas, Sheldon S. Douglas, Daniel Newton, Dvonte Newton, Alvante Frett; as well as many great nieces, great nephews and special friends too numerous to mention.

Sammy was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

The family asks that service attendees wear festive colors.

A first viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at Blyden’s Memorial Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, March 22, at Memorial Moravian Church.

The family thanks everyone for their well wishes and prayers during this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
