Alleged Assault While Driving Under Investigation

An alleged victim of assault reported an incident to the authorities that occurred in a vehicle on Crown Mountain Road, St. Thomas, Friday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

At approximately 7:51 p.m., the victim was present at the Richard Callwood Command and reported that while driving on Crown Mountain Road with a male friend, an altercation ensued between them, nearly causing an auto collision, according to the police report.

The victim further stated that the altercation escalated and became physical where he was assaulted and as a result, he sustained a laceration and contusion to the top of his right eye, the police report stated.
