He was most beloved by his wife, Evadne Sang MD; sons: Tan Lucien, Michael and Peter; as well as his grandson, Zachary, who was the apple of his eye.

He was a giant amongst us for his exceptional ability to communicate and care deeply for all around him, especially his thousands of patients from Washington, D.C., South Carolina, and, more recently, the United States Virgin Islands.

Dr. Bryan was born near Claremont, Jamaica, West Indies, 81 years ago, as the oldest of three children. He is survived by his siblings: Herbie Bryan MD and Cyril Bryan, Eulalee Henry and Mary (Jean) Smith; as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Gwendolyn.

Per his wishes, Dr. Bryan shall be cremated shortly, with a celebration of his life to follow in the future.

In lieu of flowers, please send any contribution to Howard University College of Medicine Class of 1974 Scholarship Fund in Dr. Gasnel Bryan’s name.
