Austin Charles Parris died on Nov. 6.
The viewing will take place from 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Kingdom Life International Center. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Martin Parris; children: Antonio Parris, Faye Parris Jackson, Wayne Parris and Natalie Parris Weston; grandchildren: Christopher Parris, Christina Parris, Jennifer Parris Burnett, Aliyah Weston, Angelique Weston, Anjanae Weston, Danielle Parris, Tiffany Parris, Shoi Devarn Jackson and Shamir Demoui Jackson; and great-grandchildren: Santana Burnett, Emmi Burnett, Sanayah Lajadah Jackson and Sereniti Devarn Jackson.
He is also survived by brothers: Cecil Caines and Thomas Caines; nieces: Kolicia Davis, Fatima Caines, Cecilia Caines-Brown, Cynthia Caines, Diana Howard, Anita Moody, Georgina Peters, Tonya Palmer and Heidi Boyd; nephews: Jason Caines, Elvis Caines, Anthony Caines, Walter Vickerie, Thomas R. Caines, Claudius E. Caines, Jeffrey Warner and Eustace Bailey; and son-in-law, Steven Jackson.
Other survivors include sisters-in-law: Bernice Caines and Beryl Moorehead; stepchildren: Theron Smith, Norecia Vasquez and Viscount Martin Jr.; step-grandchildren: Kamal Smith, Anthony Smith, Deleyanna Inez Vasquez, Diamante Tiberon Vasquez, Shaiye Gray, Imani V. Martin and Viscount B. Martin III; cousins: Kenneth Estrill Sr., Pedrito Estrill, Foncie Estrill and Dwayne Degraff; and special friends: Franklin Benjamin and Elvin Pringle.
