Over 150 MBW Supporters Came Together to Raise $210,966 This #GivingTuesday!

Some members of My Brother’s Workshop

The following is a letter of gratitude to the many who have contributed to the mission of My Brother’s Workshop through #GivingTuesday.

On Nov. 28, the whole world united for a celebration of generosity. Whether it was making someone smile, helping a neighbor out, or showing up for an issue you care about, on #GivingTuesday you transformed the way we think about and act on giving all year long.

My Brothers Workshop is so thankful to have been a part of this initiative and for all the generosity shown to us through giving on this day. None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our staff, trainees, board members, committee members and supporters. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support.

Through the generosity of our #GivingTuesday matching donors ICMC/IPB – The Stephenson Family ($35,000), The Sheehan Family ($10,000), Tom Klotzbach and Claire Starkey ($10,000), HMRT ($10,000), The Anasetti Family ($10,000), Fred and Sharon Hupprich ($2,000) and Ned White ($1,500) and all of our amazing MBW supporters, MBW raised $210,996 on this global day of giving! Thank you to all who gave. It was so wonderful to celebrate with many of you at our Thank You Reception at our campus site.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and for helping us reach our #GivingTuesday fundraising goal. We are now entering the year-end giving season so there is still time to give and help us reach our year-end fundraising goal of $300,000. All donations allow MBW to enroll students and help guide them toward achieving their goals through mentoring, mental health counseling, education, on-the-job training and job placement.
