CIB Investigates Discharging of Shots in Christiansted; No Reported Injuries

The Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) is investigating an incident that allegedly involved shots being fired at a building and car in Christiansted, the V.I. Police Department reported Tuesday.

CIB was requested at Queen Street in Christiansted for a reckless endangerment incident, according to the police report.

Upon the investigator’s arrival, they spoke with a woman, who stated that she was in her living room watching television with her young son when she heard shots fired. She then called 911, the police report stated.

Investigation into this matter revealed that the perpetrator may have parked on another street and walked to the Queen Street location and discharged shots at the woman’s building and car. No one was physically hurt during the alleged incident, the report stated.
