Man Wanted in Texas Arrested in V.I.

A man who was wanted in the state of Texas was arrested on St. Croix Thursday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Thursday, Henry Thomas Houston was taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Bureau at the Bureau of Corrections after detectives received a warrant out of Travis County, Texas. Houston was wanted for the charges of bail jumping and failure to appear, according to the police report.

Houston, age 57, was arrested, booked, and processed. Bail was set in this matter at $75,000 as per the demanding jurisdiction, the police report stated.

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
