Adopt a Forever Pet

The Source wants to help reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Every week we will feature a dog or cat from the hardworking rescue organizations and hope someone will find their new fur-ever friend on this site.

(All animals are healthy, have been vaccinated, and are neutered.)

Alastor has had a tough time already and deserves the easy life of being adopted. He is an 11-week-old male tabby who was surrendered when his eye became infected and out of control. It was so bad his eye had to be removed. But he is getting better – acting like a super playful, normal kitten, He is always on the go and a purr machine when he stops. He loves to chase his buddy Pumpkin around (also available for adoption. Alastor is up to date on vaccines and ready for a new home. Visit www.realcruzancats.org for more information and see the other kittens available.

Say hi to Poseidon! He was found in Orange Grove but his owners weren’t located, so this sweetie can be yours. He’s a year-old compact pup who weighs 38 pounds. He’s very cheerful and loves people. He is dog friendly but hasn’t met a cat yet, so that’s a question. Visit Pet Place in La Grande Princess to meet Poseidon and see the other pups and kitties who want fur-ever homes. Adoptions are free the rest of the month, except for benefactor pets.
