Adopt A Pet and Provide a Fur-Ever Home!

The Source wants to help reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Every week we will feature a dog or cat from the hardworking rescue organizations and hope someone will find their fur-ever friend on this site.

Elton (Photo Submitted by Real Cruzan Cats)

Elton is a three-month-old male tabby who is very playful and purrs constantly. He loves to
cuddle and receive human back and tummy rubs and he loves to play with his sister, Cece.
He has some manners and used his litter box. Elton is neutered and up to date on
vaccines. To fill out an application to meet or adopt him, contact
www.reascruzancats.org/#adopt.

Millie (Photo submitted by Ruff Start STX)

One-year-old Millie is learning fast – commands and to stay nearby at the beach. She is smart and friendly with people and other dogs. She is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative, and spayed. She’s ready to find her permanent home and can travel stateside. Contact Ruff Start to meet Milli at adoptions@rufftartstx.org.

Nugget (Photo submitted by St. Croix Animal Welfare Center)

Nugget is a two-year-old mixed breed male available for adoption at Pet Place. He is the definition of “chill” and loves quiet walks and slow walks. He is shy when he first meets people but warms up too quickly and is calm around other dogs. Stop by Pet Place, next door to Food Town, to meet Nugget, Monday through Saturday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
