St. John Man Charged With Cocaine Possession

On March 21, police observed a St. John man at his residence as he transferred a duffle bag from one vehicle to another. The man drove the vehicle from his home and boarded the Car Ferry in St. John to Red  Hook, said police.

According to court documents, the Virgin Islands Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop and a drug canine alerted the presence of narcotics in the trunk of Calis Sewer’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed the duffle bag containing 18 brick-shaped bundles of cocaine.
