The Archery Field located in Estate LaGrange on St. Croix has been closed temporarily effective Sunday, Jan. 15, for redevelopment and expansion of the archery program territory-wide. Public practice times will be announced in early March 2023.

“While we take some time from our very heavy field schedule to reflect on our achievements and expand our activities to all jurisdictions, the field will be closed for practice,” said Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR).

The public archery program on St. Croix is run by DPNR’s Division of Fish and Wildlife, funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The use of the program’s equipment and field time is free. Any public comments on the archery program to be considered may be made until Feb. 17, by emailing FWElectronic@usvi.onmicrosoft.com or by calling 773-1082 ext. 2224.
