Wilbert James died on Oct. 16 at his residence. He was 83 years old.

Wilbert James is survived by his wife, Dora Lynn James; son, Jose James; daughter-in-law, Anna James; daughters: Krystal James and Michelle Johnson; granddaughter, Maya Follings; grandsons: Surako Follings Jr., Lucas James and Jordon James; sisters: Juella Francis and Noel Donastorg; brother-in-law, Alberto Donastorg; brother, Orville James; sister-in-law, Glenda James; sister, Joan McFarlane; brother-in-law, Lenny Mc Farlane; sister, Ellen James; brother-in-law, Willie Riley;

He is also survived by nephews: Butch Francis, Wayne Francis, Lorenzo Donastorg, Orville James Jr., Rodney James Sr., Tyrone James, Harold Johnson, Ian Mc Farlane and Willie James; nieces: Trecia Donastorg, Thuesla Donastorg, Joann Donastorg, Lisa Venzen, Lorna James, Rita James, Keshma James, O’Shera James, Latoya James, Lasharn Persuad, Tiffany Wilson, Chanta Riley and Ebony James; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, Nov. 17, at Celestial Chapel of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals. The viewing/service will go from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Coki Point Cemetery

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dan Hurley Home for Funerals and Cremation Centers of St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.
