On Thursday, May 26, 2022, 50-year-old Brett Kimelman was taken into custody at 6:53 p.m. by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. He was taken into custody after an investigation revealed that he was wanted out of the state of Colorado for absconding from a halfway house/parole program.
Kimelman was arrested, booked, and processed. No bail was set as per the demanding state of Colorado, and he was remanded to the Bureau of corrections pending the extradition process. . This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
