Roach Announces Temporary Closure of Frederiksted Tax Assessor Office

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. advises the public that the St. Croix Tax Assessor Office and the on-site cashier located at Lagoon Street Commercial Building, No. 1 (Frederiksted), will be temporarily closed effective Monday, Dec. 6. The closure is due to a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Sanitization and COVID-19 mitigation protocols have been activated. All staff have been notified and persons identified as close contacts will be tested prior to their return to work.

Tax Assessor and cashier services remain available at the 1131 King Street, Christiansted location. Persons in need of cashier services may also visit 1105 King Street (Government House, Christiansted) and the Office of the Tax Collector at 4008 Estate Diamond (Sunny Isle, Department of Finance Building).

The office will keep the public informed on this matter, including when Tax Assessor and cashier services will resume operations in Frederiksted.
