Police Investigate Armed Robbery in Havensight

Three men reported being robbed at gunpoint Friday night in the Havensight area, the V.I. Police Department reported in a news release issued Monday.

According to police, at 11:43 p.m., Friday, the 911 emergency call center dispatched police officers to the Havensight Mall at 11:43 p.m. to investigate an armed robbery. The officers made contact with three male victims who reported that several armed males exited a vehicle and demanded they empty their pockets. The suspects then fled the scene.

Detectives investigating the incident urged anyone with information about the case to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau 340-774-2211 extension 5513, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477 (1-800-222-TIPS). Reports to Crime Stoppers that help resolve a crime can earn the caller an anonymous cash reward.
