In the Christmas spirit of giving, the West End Democratic Club (WE Dems Club) members decided to adopt two families for distribution of gifts in celebration of the holiday season.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the club did not let that deter them from spreading the holiday cheer; therefore, on Christmas Day, members of the club gathered together to spread tidings of joy to both families. A gift of $500 was given to one family and the members of a second family received gifts of their choice.
The families were very thankful for the club’s thoughtfulness and expressed their gratitude.
The WE Dems Club’s mission is to support the principles of the Democratic Party by helping to improve the lives of the people of the Virgin Islands and continuing to focus on the growth and building of a better community.
