The Virgin Islands Port Authority advises the public that the reopening of the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) office at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix is postponed until further notice.

The reopening was originally scheduled for July 7 but has been postponed pending the installation of protective equipment for the staff that will be processing applicants.  VIPA will announce the new reopening date.

The Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) applications for the St. Thomas-St. John District are no longer processed at the Cyril E. King Airport.  VIPA was also advised that the University of the Virgin Islands is no longer processing TWIC applications as of May 2020.

Applicants for a TWIC card are being referred to St. Croix or Puerto Rico until a TWIC office is established by the U.S. Department of Transportation on St. Thomas.

For more information or to schedule an appointment for a TWIC card, contact the Universal Enrollment Services Call Center at 855-347-8371.
