Robbery Reported in Estate Nisky

Two masked men robbed a man who was waiting in his car at about 5:52 p.m. Wednesday on St. Thomas, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to police, the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched officers to Estate Nisky regarding a robbery. At the scene the victim told officers that he had been seated in his vehicle when he was approached by two masked males who appeared to be armed. The suspects demanded his money and took a bag that contained cash. The suspects left the area in a white Jeep Wrangler that was later found in Contact Knolls, police said.

The VIPD urged anyone with information regarding this crime to contact 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-774-2211 extension 5579, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI at 800-222-8477.
