V.I. Cannabis Advisory Board Holds First Formal Meeting

The Virgin Islands Cannabis Advisory Board (CAB) held its first formal meeting on Feb. 27, according to Commissioner of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs Richard T. Evangelista.

The Cannabis Advisory Board meeting was held at the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) on St. Croix. Topics discussed included proposed amendments to the Virgin Islands Cannabis Patient Care Act, creation of a CAB website, CBD provider certification and the expedited nominations for additional CAB members.  The existing members/officers are as follows:

Dr. Nicole Craigwell-Sims, Ph.D., Secretary

Catherine A. Kean, M.D., Vice Chair

Dr. Gary Jett, M.D., Member

Christopher T.  Jones, Member
