Margaret A. Galloway Dies at 93

Margaret A. Galloway died on Nov. 19, at her home at the age of 93.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter, Pamela Turner; her only surviving sibling, Helen St. Romain (Brennan); grandchildren: Jasmine Turner-Baa (Julian), Alesia Jerrels (Jeffery), Emanuel Turner Jr. (Maria), Loretta Moorehead (Rodney) and adopted grandson, Hewlette Turner (Coralie); and great-grandchildren: Brandon Walker, Jahmil, Emmaleah, Tamia, Malik, Tyreek and Zayden Turner, Rodney Jr. and Ryan Moorehead, Kimberly, Akeem and Nekisha Turner.

She is also survived by great-great grandchildren: Justice, Tatianna, and Akeela Turner and Kaleem Fleming; nieces: Shelia, Marilyn, Brenda, Hyacinth, Joyce, Glenda, Agnes, Dianne, Delarosa, Sonia, Sharon, Sandra, Caroline, Cassandra, Ava Neila, Sharon and Nova; nephews: Melvin, Dale, Dave, George, Calvin, Eustace, Lawson, Ricky, Steven, Jason, Stanley, Andrew, Joslyn, Jeffrey, Trevor, Melvin, Christobell and Troy; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.

The family of Margaret Galloway would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all of you for your kind words and gestures during this difficult time. Special thanks extended to Acute Alternative Medical Care, Dr. Campbell’s office, Continuum Care Services, Meals on Wheels, Pastor Will Woods and members of the Altona Baptist Church, Pastor Earl Daniel and members of the Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church for their love and support, and the Peter’s Rest friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Galloway requested that a donation be made to the St. Croix Seventh-day Adventist School, P.O. Box 930, Christiansted, St. Croix 00821

The viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
