Elaine Joseph of St. Croix, who was born in St. Lucia, died on May 17 in Houston, Texas.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Oautry Joseph; parents: Agnita Nelson and Josephat Samuel; grandchild, Deonte Theophilus; and brother, Andrew Nelson.
She is survived by her children: Leah Stewart, Cherena Joseph, Debra Nelson and Antoine Nelson; grandchildren: Deshawn Nelson, Kadeem Nelson, Jervon Nelson, Jasmine Nelson, Kierra Nelson, Delondre Theophilus, Keshawn Theophilus, Kairan Theophilus and Ray’Jahni Harris; brother, Francis Nelson; sons-in-law: Kerry Stewart and Collins Theophilus; daughter-in-law, Tracy Brown; nieces and nephews: Vern Nelson, Fleur Nelson, Shannon Nelson, Nicadia Nelson, Augusta Henry, Danny Henry and Don Nelson; as well as other family members and close friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, June 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
