Bridgette Juliana Louis

Bridgette Juliana Louis, also known as “Yaya,” of Estate Two Brothers died on Dec. 31. She was 72 years old.

She was preceded in death by her father, Evans Louis; mother, Elfrida Aldophe; and sisters: Agnetta Louis and Gertrude Dosserie.

She is survived by her daughters: Sophia Theofan, Virginia Clairmont and Fanny Andrews Clarke; grandchildren: Shimeca Williams, Akeem Stevens, John Franklin, Jahmarley Sealey, Leslie Murray III, Bryan Williams, Malachy Hamilton, Aleaka Edwards, Adeaja Lngville, Alexander Faulkner and Nicholas Faulkner; great-grandchildren: Terrell Franklin, Amarley Stevens, Noah Miller, Aniyah Franklin, Amari Franklin, Cairo Butler and Kahlil Williams; sister, Elizabeth Veaux; and brothers: Claude Louis, Ambrose Alfrey Adolphe and Charles Adolphe Merle.

She is also survived by nieces: Nellista Bess, Bertha Harrigan and Brenda Paul; nephews: Martin Augustin, Justin Louis, Theodore Louis, John Louis and Glen Louis; great nieces: Mariyah Louis and Ashleen Louis; great nephews: Aaron Bess, Trevor Harrigan, Sebastian Harrigan and Justin Louis Jr.; special friends: Joy Charles, Arlene Petersen, Gerard Kane, Randy and Cathy Tiddark, Father Gaddy, Edna Roberts, Department of Education School Lunch Program and the ladies of the prayer group; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a viewing held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 17, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
