Disaster Recovery Centers to Be Closed for Thanksgiving

Federal Emergency Management Agency

All nine Disaster Recovery Centers will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The centers will be open normal hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

Recovery specialists from FEMA and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are at the centers helping hurricane survivors register for assistance. The specialists can answer questions on federal disaster assistance available to homeowners, renters and small business owners.

Virgin Islanders may also register for assistance online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 800-621-3362.
