St. Croix District Board Invites Primary Candidates, Media and Public to View Counting of Ballots

Please be advised that the St. Croix District Board of Elections met on Sunday, Aug. 7, to begin counting the 2016 Primary Election Ballots, which include but are not limited to Democrat Party Office Ballots (National Committeewoman, State Chairman and Territorial Committee District-St. Croix), absentee ballots, and provisional ballots if necessary. The counting of the 2016 Primary Election Ballots will be held at the St. Croix office of the Elections System at 1 p.m. No. 93AB Sunny Isles Annex.
Note: Unofficial Democrat Public Office ballots results will be made available on Saturday, Aug. 6. Democrat Public Office Ballots includes Delegate to the House of Representative, Senator-at-Large and Senators.
The St. Croix District Board of Elections will be meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 9, to continue counting the 2016 Primary Election Ballots, which includes but is not limited to Democrat Party Offices Ballots (National Committeewoman, State Chairman and Territorial Committee District-St. Croix), absentee ballots, and provisional ballots if necessary.
Please Note: Unofficial Democrat Public Office Ballots results will be made available on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Democrat Public Office Ballots includes Delegate to the House of Representative, Senator-at-Large, and Senators.

Vice-Chairwoman Barbara Jackson-McIntosh invites the media, candidates and the public to view the process. Jackson-McIntosh reminds the media and candidates that space is limited in the St. Croix conference room and ask that they limit the viewers one person at a time to view on the media’s or the candidate’s behalf.
The St. Croix District Board of Elections will also meet on Monday, Aug. 8, to continue counting the 2016 Primary Election Ballots, which include but are not limited to Democrat Party Offices Ballots (National Committeewoman, State Chairman and Territorial Committee District-St. Croix), absentee ballots, and provisional ballots if necessary.
