Jevon O.A. Williams Enters Race to Be on St. Croix Board of Elections

Jevon O.A. Williams My Fellow Virgin Islanders:
Thank you! Your continued support of my campaign for the Office of National Committeeman of the U.S. Virgin Islands Republican Party was not in vain. On June 11, 2016, I was elected and I have you to thank for it. I will be a strong voice for Republican voters of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and I pledge to make sure that Republican voters of the U.S. Virgin Islands have their voices heard as it relates to our local and national platform, issues and general concerns.
It is the responsibility of the VI Republican Party to put forth worthy candidates for the Offices of Congress, Legislature and Boards of Elections and Education. These candidates will be equipped with new ideas that will create the environment for economic growth in the Virgin Islands, and offer solutions needed to remedy this destructive course that our elected officials have set us upon. Now thanks to your support, I have a greater say in the matter. Now that the convention is over, the race is heating up and we have an even greater amount of work to do before the general election.
As you already know, I am a candidate for the Board of Elections in the St. Croix district. I am running to ensure that every case of alleged voter or election fraud is thoroughly investigated, the public’s trust should not be taken for granted, without the public’s trust, democracy fails. If elected, I will put party politics aside and be a strong voice for all voters of the U.S. Virgin Islands and pledge to make sure that all voters have their voices heard. Equally important, we need to understand that regardless of an individual’s political affiliation, I am committed to ensuring all elections in the Virgin Islands are free, fair and honest. Let us set aside our differences and rally around the one truth that we all share, the hope of restoring the U.S. Virgin Islands to its former glory.
I’d like to thank you in advance for your support.
Respectfully, Jevon O.A. Williams
