St. Thomas Historical Trust Plans Cocktail Hour and Lecture

The St Thomas Historical Trust will hold a special cocktail hour and lecture from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, at Johansen House.
Step back 112 years for a delightful evening in a beautiful period house — completely apropos of the subject – and the story of a young Dane sent to the Virgin Islands in 1900 to be a gendarme. Narrating Christian Peter Lvivbjerg’s photos and images, grandson Sven Ole Livbjerg and his wife Kristine have an exciting adventure to relate.
Enjoy wonderful appetizers and specially paired rare wines at this fundraiser for the trust. The cost for this first of its kind special event is just $50 per person. Call 774-5541 to RSVP.
Johansen House is Ray Miles’ Gallery on Weymoth Rhymer Highway. (It is on the right after you pass Edith Williams School and before you reach the driveway to Price Smart.)
