CAHS Issues Schedule for Public Use of Track

Principal Carmen Howell of the Charlotte Amalie High School asks the general public for consideration of the students with regard to the use of the track. “With the start of the 2009-10 school year, several athletic activities will be resuming on the CAHS campus. Persons from the community who routinely use the CAHS track in the afternoon are hereby requested to give way to the CAHS track team’s practice from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., daily.
“This request is being made for safety reasons and to ensure that student athletes can train without interference and without posing a risk to the safety of others, especially small children who accompany their parents on the track. We are asking for the full cooperation of the public on this matter,” Howell said.
