Education Human Resources Asks for Notices of Intent

May 12, 2009 – Education Acting Director of Human Resources Nicole Jacobs reminds personnel who anticipate their departure from employment with the department prior to the opening of the 2009-2010 school year and who have not yet submitted notices of their intent to depart that they are required to do so should they decide not to return to service.
Jacobs said, "The Human Resources Division is currently engaged in recruiting and coordinating staffing for the upcoming school year. In an effort to ensure that we have accurate figures relative to any specific needs or shortages, we are asking that all school-based personnel to include administrators and teachers submit their Notice of Intent, in writing.
"The original deadline to submit the Notices of Intent has passed. However, we are imploring personnel to assist us as we strive to have maximum coverage for the upcoming school year," she said.
Letters can be mailed to or dropped off at any of the HR offices at 1834 Kongens Gade, St. Thomas, or No. 10 Vitraco Mall, Christiansted, St. Croix.
