Antilles High School Qualifies for National Sailing Competition

April 29, 2008 – The Antilles High School Sailing Team qualified for the national team racing competition, the Baker Cup, recently by winning the South Atlantic District qualifier. The top two teams in the qualifier move on to the Nationals, which will be held at Lake Minnetonka, Minn., over Memorial Day weekend. The South Atlantic district encompasses Florida (except the panhandle), Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Northern Alabama and outside the continental boundaries, islands in the Caribbean. Country Day School's sailing team placed fourth in the competition.
