Verna Ernestine Challenger Dead at 62

Aug. 20, 2007 – Verna Ernestine Challenger died on Aug. 14, at St. Joseph Hospital, at age 62.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Dolcar; granddaughter, Morgan Reneé Dolcar; and son-in-law, Luther Dolcar. Other survivors include brothers: Cardigan, Tyrone, Rhys, Kennedy, Timothy, Benedict and Pastor Gareth Hodge, Dr. Hesketh and Mark Vanterpool; sisters: Ethne Richardson, Gracelyn Jones, Diane and Lorna Smith; and relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral Services will take place at 10 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 24, at Beulah AME Zion Church. Interment follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
