May 26, 2007 – The UVI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will present the seminar: "Grant Writing Basics" from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at the UVI-SBDC Training Facility, 2nd Floor, East Wing, Nisky Center, Suite 720, on St. Thomas. Admission is $20. Pre-register and receive a $5 discount. UVI students, faculty, staff and veterans are admitted free with a valid I.D. The presenter will be Bill Rohring of Environmental Impacts Management (EIM).
The seminar is designed for the grant-writing novice. Bring your ideas because a few will be used as examples. There is a process for writing a successful grant. Come and learn some of the basic things to do from an experienced grant writer. Be proactive instead of reactive.
