Senators Want to Shoot the Messenger

Dear Source:
I read with wonder the latest evidence that our elected legislators are not worthy of their positions as they obviously do not understand the provisions of the US Constitution as regards free speech. Sadly they abuse their positions to punish any who would speak out against their foolishness, and in addition here they are trying to shoot the messenger. It seems that they are so insulated from reality that they do not hear the message. The recall movement should send a clear message that they should seriously reconsider their actions. Instead they attack blindly. If Senator Russell is hurt by the people's words " … to have our senators called monkeys, buffoons, to have people's names dragged in the mud, their families — it's not right." then the senators should stop acting like monkeys and buffoons and start acting "senatorial". If that's too hard, then I'd settle for civil.
