Teachers Needed for Standard Setting Process

July 29, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Department of Education is preparing to conduct the Standard Setting Process of the 2006 Virgin Islands Territorial Assessment of Learning (VITAL), which will determine the reliability and validity of the spring assessment. The deadline to sign up to participate is Wednesday, Aug. 2, according to a press release from Education.
Public reading and math teachers for grades three through eight interested in participation in the process are asked to contact Rita Benjamin-Thomas in the State Office of Curriculum and Instruction, at 774-0100, ext. 8162.
