UVI Student Receives Sixth Diploma

July 20, 2006 — Claudette A. Georges received her sixth degree, a master's degree in Public Administration, from University of the Virgin Islands in May.
Georges received her first degree in 1986, when UVI was still the College of the Virgin Islands. That degree was an associate's degree in business management. In 1988, she received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She completed the master of business administration (M.B.A.) degree in 1992. In 2004, she received her associate's and bachelor's degrees in accounting.
Georges in the first college graduate of her immediate family. She is interested in persuing a further degrees in public administration and attending law school.
Georges is a Senior Grants Analyst at the Office of Management and Budget. She has been employed by the V.I. government for more than15 years.
Georges also involved with the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Iota Phi Lamda sorority, the V.I. Democratic Party and several organizations.
