UVI Presents Forum on Childhood Obesity

March 9, 2006 – The University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service Family and Consumer Sciences Program presents a forum, "Confronting Childhood Obesity Through Education." It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Thursday, March 16, at the SBDC-Training Facility, Nisky Center, Suite No. 720.
Topics will include: causes for childhood obesity, helping your overweight child, prevention of childhood obesity, fun physical activities and parental involvement. There will be no charge for the forum, and pre-registration is required.
