TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR PRINCIPALS

A Technology Leadership Institute for all public school principals in the St. Thomas/St. John district will take place on Friday, May 14, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, May 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Curriculum Center in Tutu, St. Thomas.
Topics to be covered will include e-mail, internet, productivity software and the role of the principal in technology-supported curriculum and instruction in schools.
Principals will be provided with e-mail and internet accounts and a Department of Education Standardized Technology Training Guidebook.
This Institute is being hosted by the State Office of Multimedia Technology Services, in cooperation with the Office of the Commissioner, Office of the Insular Superintendents and Learning Innovations.
