The family of Amparo Navarro is saddened to announce her peaceful passing on June 24, 2026, at the age of 63.
Amparo was born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, on March 5, 1963. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, caring aunt, faithful friend, and a source of love, kindness, and strength to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Bermudez Ayala and Enrique Carrasquillo Sanes;
her brothers, Luis, Victor, and Angel Carrasquillo; and her sisters, Pamela and Tamisha Carrasquillo.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Nelson Navarro; her children, Jahvan Navarro and Jahnelsy Navarro; her daughter-in-law, Skielar Navarro; her son-in-law, Yauncey Milligan Jr; and her treasured grandchildren, Yauncey III, Yansel, Yandel, & Yaunce Milligan, and Keison Navarro. She is also survived by her brothers, Jose, Julio, & Henry Carrasquillo, and Jose Alex Torres; her sisters, Mercedes Davis, Pamisha and Dikiana Carrasquillo; and many other beloved family members and dear friends too numerous to mention.
A funeral service celebrating Amparo’s life will be held on Thursday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at Kingshill Funeral Home, 303 Clifton Hill, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands 00850. Interment will immediately follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
