Dive into Adventure: Registration Open for St. Croix Sea Swim

Swimmers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to world-class athletes, are invited to experience the thrill of the annual St. Croix Sea Swim, Jan. 5, 2025, at 11 a.m.

Registration is open, so donโ€™t miss the chance to be part of one of the V.I.’s best open-water events!

This open-water event celebrates the beauty of the island and the joy of swimming with participants ranging from age 8 to 80. Whether youโ€™re a seasoned competitor or taking your first strokes in open water, the St. Croix Sea Swim offers something for everyone. Swimmers will navigate the course along St. Croixโ€™s west-end coastline, making this event a truly unforgettable experience.

Key Information

  • Open to swimmers of all backgrounds, strokes, and skill levels.
  • One-mile swim from Frederiksted Pier to Rainbow Beach
  • Participants compete for a variety of prizes, including custom-made jewelry and gift certificates. Everyone receives a commemorative t-shirt, a goody bag, and lunch is included in the registration.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Croix Swimming Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting swimming and youth fitness on the island. Founded in 1972, the association provides children and adults with access to top-notch swimming facilities and coaching resources. The facility, located at the Good Hope Country Day School campus, features a 50-meter competitive pool and a 15-meter heated learn-to-swim pool.
