June 6, 2007 — Voters will have a chance to hear from at-large Constitutional Convention delegate candidates Saturday evening in a forum scheduled by the V.I. Constitution 2008 public-education project.
The forum, which begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, will take place via teleconference from the Chase Auditorium, Room B-110 on UVI's St. Thomas campus and the Melvin Evans Center, EVC 401, on the St. Croix campus, according to a news release from the project.
At-large delegate candidates from both districts will each get an opportunity to make an introductory statement and provide responses to questions generated by both the Constitution 2008 Education Project and members of the audience.
Delegate candidates interested in participating in the forum should register through the UVI Constitution 2008 Public Education Office by telephone at 693-1240 or 693-1000. Candidates are asked to assemble at the room in their district by 5:45 p.m. Saturday in preparation for the forum, the news release said. The forum is open to the public.
