Nov. 16, 2006 — The V.I. Department of Health has been awarded a $201,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, according to a release issued Wednesday by Delegate Donna Christensen.
The funds will be used for the Maternal and Child Health Services Program, developed to improve health care for pregnant women, mothers and infants and for those without access to adequate health care.
