LAST ART WALK OF THE SEASON IS THURSDAY EVENING

June 2, 2002 – It's June already, so of course this Thursday is Art Thursday — that monthly occasion when Christiansted galleries and artisan emporiums keep their doors open in the evening and invite residents and visitors to do the "art walk" thing — strolling from place to place at your own pace and staying at each stop as long as you like.
This will be the last art walk of the first season, so if you're in the market or the mood for adding to your art collection — or looking for an enduring graduation, Father's Day or wedding gift — it's a good time to check out what's available.
Participating fine art venues this time are Campen Gallery, Christiansted Gallery, Gallery Gia, and Maria Henle Studio. New one-of-a-kind jewelry designs and other artisan work will be on display at Iona Skye, I.B. Designs and Jewelweed.
Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. "Join us for a glass of wine and a last look at art in the evenings 'til we begin again next season," a release says. For more information, call 773-7376.
